Lake Fishing Trip Booking & Cancellation

Last updated: January 2026

Holding your spot

Tell us which lake and date you have in mind and we'll hold your place on the boat for seven days while you arrange travel, boots, and tackle — rod, float, and line. Nothing is charged during that window — the spot by the water stays reserved just for you, whether you're after bass fishing or a quieter day of freshwater fishing from the river bank.

Confirming your trip

Your place on the water is confirmed the moment your deposit reaches us. The remaining balance for your lake fishing trip falls due thirty days before departure, or straight away if you book closer to the date — that way your boat, your guide, and your tackle box full of lures and hooks are all booked and waiting.

Moving your date

You're welcome to move your lake fishing trip once, free of charge, up to twenty-one days before departure, to any open date left in the same season. A second change depends on whether another angler can take your original place on the boat, so the earlier you ask, the easier it is to sort out.

If you cancel

If we cancel

Every lake fishing route needs a minimum number of anglers signed on before the boat goes out. If we can't reach that number, we'll tell you twenty-one days ahead of time, and you choose what happens next: a different date on the water, a different lake entirely, or your money back in full, no questions asked.

Insurance and fitness

Insurance covering boat and water activity is a condition of joining any lake fishing trip. Let us know about anything that affects how you move, what you eat, or how you handle a long day on the water — whether that's a bad knee, a food allergy, or simply nerves around deep water. It helps your guide plan where to cast, which lures to pack, and how to set up the boat — a lake isn't an aquarium, and real water conditions change by the day, but it never affects whether you're welcome on the trip.

What is included

Your guide, permits, rods, hooks, lures, a float, a landing net, and time on the boat are covered for every day listed on the route, along with shared safety gear and bait for bass, perch, and other freshwater fish. Travel to the river bank or lake, personal clothing, boots, and insurance are not included and are down to you to sort out.
